As a contemporary furniture designer and maker I have been producing finely made furniture, both freestanding and fitted, to individual commission both in the UK and abroad since 1990, and I hope you will enjoy browsing some of the pieces we have made.

Commissioning furniture is easier and more enjoyable than you may imagine whether the project be a small box or a complete room scheme, and we always take great pleasure in exceeding our clients' expectations with their new pieces. Each project begins with a very informal (and free) initial consultation, so if you like what you see and would like to explore ideas for new furniture of your own, please do not hesitate to contact me.

The term 'contemporary furniture designer and maker' distinguishes the work that my team and I produce from mass-manufactured furniture. All pieces are designed to clients' particular requirements, and made at my own workshop in Amersham, UK under my supervision by a small team of craftsmen.

As a contemporary furniture designer and maker I have produced furniture for all situations, in the main private but also corporate, public and ecclesiastical - always collaborating closely with the client to achieve precisely the desired result.

The most prestigious award presented to the contemporary furniture designer and maker is the 'Guildmark', awarded to individual pieces by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. We have been proud that our work has ahieved eight of these awards, to add to many other prizes and acknowledgements.

Work that we have produced as a contemporary furniture designer and maker includes fitted libraries, studies and dressing rooms, as well as fine freestanding pieces such as dining furniture, chests of drawers, all kinds of table and cabinets for all manner of contents.

Our work is not only local to Amersham - we have clients all around the UK and some abroad.
